Your Thought Life

Every thought does not warrant expression.

Your thought life is just as important as your physical life.

When it comes to your thoughts, you can’t hide what you think.

Your secret thoughts, fears and doubts all express themselves in what you do and don’t do. What you say and don’t say come from your thought life.

You can’t escape what you really feel and what you really think. You will need to be introspective and identify what needs to be pulled up, torn down and destroyed before it destroys you.

Today, be aware and beware of what you say.

Your words are an expression of your words & feelings. Thus an extension of yourself. Your world, your environment and your sphere of influence expresses/reveals you.

If there is any peace, any prosperity or power in your life; it is because you’ve learned that your thought life expresses itself in your present material world.

Self Vision

True vision requires us to see forward.

The aspiration of greatness is not measured by what was accomplished but by what can be accomplished.

Our biblical predecessors DO NOT define what we can do. Nor do they define who we are or who we can be.

They are not our measuring sticks.

Now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

You were created in the image and likeness of God; not people. (Genesis 1:26) No matter how noble, no matter how great or gifted a person has been or is — When God created YOU– He broke the mold.

Your vision of yourself cannot be confined by the idol in your heart of who you’d like to be like.

Your future is brighter than your past and you should determine to set a precedence of uniqueness, power and glory that those after you will seek to surpass.

It’s time to break out of self-limitation!!! Break it!!! See yourself as God sees you and you will be supernaturally transformed into the image you see.

The Life Worth Living

Each new day brings with it new opportunities, transitions and changes.

Life is exciting and worth living when we stay in the state of great expectation.

Expectation creates manifestation.

We should all be the kind of person that wakes up in the morning expecting something good and great to happen.  When we live with this state of expectation; a new attitude is developed.  The attitude of expectation graduates from just sitting around to actually participating and looking for ways to make the good and the great happen.

As creatures of habit, it’s so easy to limit God with our small thinking.

Your greatest enemy is not the devil; you are your greatest enemy.

Satan is smart enough to know that he can use you against you. He knows your habits and routines. You could blame him for all your troubles or you can take responsibility for your actions and start anew.

You need to stay one step ahead of the enemy by staying fresh and current in your mind; how think, how you learn and how you grow. Keep the devil guessing and he’ll have a tough time figuring out a plan of defense. [ha,ha,ha,ha,ha]

Today make the commitment to stay renewed.

Commit to renewing your mind with revelation and information.

Commit to renewing your heart with hope and faith.

Again, commit to stay renewed.

Your Destiny Place

There is a realm in the spirit that destiny walks in.

Destiny is about reaching the place that your spirit already believes exists.

Your mind can picture it and your spirit can sense it.

In the Book of Genesis, chapter 37, Joseph teaches us a lot about destiny.

In the stillness of night, God revealed destiny to Joseph in a dream.  God didn’t reveal it in audible words but in pictures, symbols and types. The dream promised Joseph prominence and great power.  The dream didn’t reveal when nor did it reveal how, but it did reveal a place in Joseph’s future that included royalty and great wealth.

Joseph’s life after the dream had many twists and turns that led him into a pit where he was left for dead. Then he was blind-sided by lies and injustices which led him to a prison.  Yet in the very place where Joseph thought himself forgotten, destiny awaited him.

The pit and the prison simply positioned him towards destiny. The pit and the prison served to bring him closer to the place he had once seen. With a pained and weary body, destiny awaited him just a few steps ahead.  With a simple call to the King’s palace for the interpretation of a dream, destiny waited.  Imagine that, the footsteps of a slave and the journey of a prisoner were divinely ordered toward greatness.

Beloved, oftentimes destiny doesn’t come with a road map, nor is it wrapped with fine decorations and comfort.  Destiny often comes through much travail, patience and faith.  Many people forfeit the promises of God in their life because they become impatient and can’t see the big picture.

Believe in the power of your dreams and the faithfulness of God’s promises.

Today, I encourage you to be still. In your stillness God will reveal to you not just your purpose and destiny but also the strategy on how to get there.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark

To some darkness is symbolic of evil and emptiness. To others darkness is symbolic of mystery and originality.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. ~Genesis 1:1

Darkness definitely speaks of unfamiliarity but it’s also the canvas for creation.  In the dark place, God created. It was the right place for all things to begin.

In like manner, in darkness a child is conceived from seed. And, it is in darkness that a child is hidden away and nourished before conception. After a nine month cycle, this same child emerges from darkness into the light of day to begin a new life no longer dependent on the walls of the womb that nurtured and protected it. The child while in the womb is not afraid of the dark. If anything, it’s afraid of the light because it is a new encounter.

The word for today is “Don’t be afraid of the dark.” In other words, don’t be afraid of the dark seasons of your life.  I will call this season “winter”. Winter is not the season of death but the season of rest and renewal.

The only things that die in the winter are the plants that aren’t rooted deeply. Plenty of trees and new seeds make it through the winter.  The seeds that are properly planted in the fall emerge in the spring radiant and colorful.  In like manner, darkness is the season of rest (Sabbath).

From the place of darkness; life. It’s in the place of stillness and alone-ness that true rest and creativity begins. I know that there are some answers and ideas that you need that are hiding in the dark place.

You shouldn’t be afraid to enter the dark place to extract what is hidden away for you. Even as gold and gems hide in the depth of the earth; so are the solutions you seek.

Today, dare to enter the dark and start digging. Dig past your insecurities and doubts. There you will dream, imagine and receive revelation. In the dark place, you will find valuable treasures that will grant you great prosperity in spirit, mind, body and finances.
